Tag, You're it!

Just found out that I've been tagged by the lovely Candice Lanning of The Beautiful Mess . I'm so excited about this! I don't really feel like I have much interesting to say, but I love reading other photographer's blogs that have been tagged. The deal is you list 8 random facts about yourself and tag 8 other bloggers. Here goes:

1. My dream growing up was to move out of my house at 18, go to Hollywood, and become an actress. I mean I was dead set on this up until the last couple of months before I was about to graduate. I realized that the "real world" was coming fast and my dreams of hitting the road were not looking so bright. I'm thankful now that God had other ideas about my future. But, I think that's why I love reading magazines like People and Us Weekly. Sometimes when I'm casually walking around somewhere I imagine that I'm being followed by paparazzi and that these photos will show up in those magazines!! I know, WEIRDO!

2. I married my husband May 27,2006 and we honeymooned in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. It's been a whirlwind ever since! I never thought I could have such an amazing relationship with someone. I mean we have our issues, but there is nothing like growing in love with him!

3. I absolutely love being involved in ministry like Tony and I are (we work in the AlpaNet at New Hope Worship Center). I would love to make it something we do full-time someday, but I feel like that is such a scary thing to say.

4. My favorite place in the world is St. Simons Island, GA---i've practically grown up there! I've been every summer for the week of the 4th of July since I was a baby (i missed 1 summer when I was living in Daytona). Something about that place makes me feel at home, comfortable....like I belong. I've created so many memories with my family there and it will always be my little haven. (Savannah, GA runs a close race, ending up in 2nd place)

5. I wish so badly that I could sing good. I feel like the only reason God didn't let me sing good is because I would become a TRIPLE THREAT and take over the world!! hahah!

6. It's very hard for me to make commitments to things. I guess I have a fear of failure. But, I try to avoid setting goals or making plans far into the future. I mean I still do it, but I always have knots in my stomach.

7. I always wanted to be a surfer girl.....

8. My very first job was at one of those nasty buffet restaurants. I won't mention the name....too ashamed.

Well, I did it! I don't really know 8 other bloggers that haven't already been tagged, so i'll try my best. But, I may have to be a party pooper and not pass this chain along. Sorry!!
p.s. the picture is of Maisey Bowen tickling the keys! She's the daughter of our beautiful Worship Arts Leader at church. Maisey makes me want to have a daughter---she's been featured on the blog before with the rest of the Bowen Clan.
