the lady behind the book

Last week, I had the awesome experience of traveling to Americus, GA with my pastor. She is the author of "Who Calls Me Beautiful?" and "Designed by God". She was invited to speak at Georgia Southwestern State University to college girls involved with BCM on their campus. She did a phenomenal job speaking to the hearts of these girls on issues that we as women tend to have difficulty with. I'm always amazed when I watch her minister to young women (and to me!)---she does it with such grace, compassion, and truth. She is a woman who seeks after the truth on a daily basis and it's a privilege for me to get to sit under her teaching.
