2008 is....

closed! My 2008 shooting calendar is officially closed. I can't overextend myself this holiday season. I've done that for the past few years and it's so stressful trying to get everything done and spend time with all of our families. Now, I've got to spend the rest of december finishing albums, archiving, shooting, and getting ready for the new year! A new year and hopefully better business! Stay tuned for all the things I've got planned to showcase on the blog--including a great gift offer, new products and services for 2009.

This first year in business has been incredible! I was so nervous about quitting my job at the school to pursue this FULL-TIME. Really, it was a trust issue with the Lord....questioning you know...."is this really going to work?", "am I really good enough to be a professional?", "what if I don't make enough money to help pay the bills....will I have to get a part-time job at starbucks or something....I don't have time for a have a part-time job..." and on and on. God has blessed this little business so much. No, it's not a booming million dollar organization...but He's blown my little human mind with His goodness towards me. My hope in 2009 is to continue making Him #1 in this business and to run it with integrity. If this is not what I'm supposed to do with my life. I know He'll direct me. I've asked Him like a million times! For now, I know this is where I'm supposed to be. I'm also indebted to the wonderful people who have let me photograph them this year. To allow me into their families, lives, and homes...to allow me to capture the most important day of their lives. I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH!
