Jennie & Pete: Wedding

Thursday, March 5, 2009

Last saturday I came out of "wedding retirement" to photograph a friends wedding. You've seen Jennie and Pete's engagement photos on the blog (ya know, the first time with my new 5D!). I loved how simple this wedding was...it almost made me miss wedding photography :)
Another thing I loved about this wedding is that this is the church that Tony and I were married in 3 years ago this May! I was so excited to go back and re-live my wedding day (except this time through my lens!) with Jennie and Pete. This old church has such character and it is a wonderful location.
Congrats, guys! Hope you are having fun in San Francisco! (I'm not jealous or anything!)

details, details! I have to tell you that Jennie is an event planner, so most of what you see from her wedding was designed and created from herself and the help of friends and family. She's amazing!

okay, blog readers...do you like the posting of larger images? I made some of them too wide and cut off some of these images. Tell me, honestly. I thought I would love it, but I think I may have to get used to it. Thoughts?

This size does seem kind of... large. It's not bad, but I kind of like the size of the header. It's still bigger, but not overwhelming. I don't know. It's what you think that matters. I do like the fact that you can see details a little bit better.

I really like the larger photos! The bigger the better right! This goes for hair so it should also go for your photos! Keep up the good work!

as a fellow photographer...i like the larger pictures better. why you may ask? well...i think it makes pictures sharper...and it doesn't compress them in a funky, less detail kind of way. keep'em big. fo' real. :)
