One of the things I knew I would miss the most when I let go of wedding photography was the opportunity to shoot fun engagement sessions. I just knew that most couples like to use their wedding photographer to shoot their engagement shots--so usually the two go hand in hand. But, I have really been blessed lately to photograph some great engaged couples....and Melissa and Jeremy are certainly one of them! We battled some really bright sun when we were out, but that just meant we had to get even more creative to hide from the harsh light. The couple also brought along their fabulous doggy, Co-Co! I wanted to take her on a playdate with Lilybelle....she was just so cute and LOVED her mom and dad!
In other really cool news: I've been featured on The Bokeh Pot blog today. I wasn't expecting today to be the day, so it was a great surprise! I've answered questions ranging from my favorite movie to what it took to start my business. Please go have a look--I'd be honored :)
