I think I'm starting to realize that I really love big family sessions. There is usually lots of energy and different dynamics happening which makes things a lot more spicy! I didn't think I would at first because I'm not a fan of the big group shots at weddings, but I think the difference is the amount of time I have to work and interact with them. I don't feel so rushed or at risk like I do at a wedding.
Okay, besides all that jibber jabber....I loved this family! I know that I say that a lot, but I've already had the privilege of shooting Allison (pink shirt) her husband, and her parents last year so I knew what I was getting into......until Doc and Monk showed up!! Haha, just kidding! It was a pleasure hanging out and photographing you guys! Thanks so much for trusting me with your family memories!
I photographed these guys last year...but, Evan (Allison, tell me if that's how you spell it!) was just a newborn!
I just want to eat this little red-headed child!
hhheeeyyyy cousins!
they told me that their grandpa (aka Doc) had never had a professional picture done! WHATTTT!!? Okay, so I wanted to make this shot look like old film....and I like the outcome!
little man....
Stay tuned this weekend to sign up for late summer beach sessions!!
