I met up with the Getts family this week to get some updated family photos. The cool thing is Jimmy, the husband and father, is here on a break from his deployment in the Middle East. It was honor to capture the connections this family has probably longed to have together again. Jennifer is actually the sister of one of my good friends, so I knew John Daniel and Elijah from their aunt and from past get togethers. But, man OH man, Elijah was workin' it for my camera! He was so much fun! Jennifer let me know that he doesn't always warm up to people that fast. I was special :)
