A few pics from thanksgiving break. It was a much needed break, but I got a little too accustomed to sleeping in everyday! It's been hard to wake up early this week. Sooooo thankful for all that God is doing in my life!!:)

I got to hang out with Savannah-based photographer, Christine Hall. She's a favorite of mine and I'm so grateful I've gotten the chance to meet and hang out with her! *Thank you, Christine, for letting me tag along and for the insight and tips:) Hope to keep in touch:) Here she is working her magic:

Way to go, Tom

Tuesday, November 27, 2007

I just heard of this GREAT company! This guy, "tom" maybe, gives a pair of shoes to a person in a 3rd world country every time we buy 1 pair. I love this. Right now, he's in *South Africa*. I checked out the site and the shoes are very funky and sooooo fun! Yes, they are expensive....but, so is ALOT of the stuff we like to buy or want to buy.
Kinda cool b/c about 2 weeks ago, our outreach pastor who is head over our "bridge" ministry told us that good shoes are the hardest to get to the homeless people we minister to.
Check it out....
www.tomsshoes.com (oh yeah if you know how to produce a link on the web, can you tell me what HTML to write...i'm so clueless....yes, i tried the "insert link" button)

I had a great time capturing these cousins together! Thank you Lindsay and Bethany for letting me work with your beautiful kids!!
p.s. Lindsay brought out balloons, lollipops, and bubbles! It was great, she knew how to get their attention.

Palm Beach--WOW!!

Wednesday, November 7, 2007

Okay, so Tony and I drove down to Palm Beach, FL last friday for my cousin's wedding. Let me tell you...this was the event of the year! I was amazed at all the extravagance. From bridesmaid's brunch @ the Ritz, getting real pearls, staying at the Palm Beach hotel, rehearsal dinner @ Echo, wedding prep/cocktail hr/reception/after-party all at the gorgeous Breakers Hotel. I'm still in awe.
Also, last week was like week of FAVOR for me. I'm so thankful for these great experiences. Last week, I was able to meet 2 awesome and successful photographers: Christine Hall, based out of Savannah, and Susan Stripling, based out of Tallahasee. WOW!! I am blown away. More than ever, I want to jump into making photography my full-time profession after being so inspired by these 2 women.
Here's some images from the weekend:

Actually, most of these shots were taken by my friend Meaghan P. We worked together last night. Hope everyone had a wonderful halloween:)
p.s. i'm waayyyy behind on blog posts. I'll be riding 9 hours to Palm Beach tomorrow and hope to get some work done!
