Wow! What a wonderful year it has been for my little business. I took a leap in 2009 when I complete cut out wedding photography to focus on specializing in children and families (ok, well I did shoot 2 weddings, but they were for 2 very good friends of mine;). I remember I was SOOO nervous back in January because it was kind of slow (little did I realize that this is typically a slow month for any photographer), and I knew that cutting out weddings could possibly mean a pay cut as well. But, I felt more than anything that I was doing the right thing. I didn't want to spread myself everywhere and felt as though I thrive when I work with families.
I can confidently say that this has been the best year for business! I know I'm still very new at this venture, so I know I still have so much to learn. I feel more fulfilled focusing on what I love best rather than trying to be everything for everybody. Now in 2010, I'm looking forward to seeing what God has in store for this business as well as my life. This year, I'm hoping to branch out into something that my heart is so passionate about; using my photography as a way to spread the Gospel. I'm totally open!
Thank you x INFINITY to my precious, awesome, fun, good-looking clients and friends who have trusted me with their family images in 2009 and beyond. Your support keeps me going! I pray the Merriest of Christmases to everyone!
