Exciting News!!

On friday I wandered through Borders bookstore to the magazine section. I guess I shouldn't say I "wandered" because I always head straight to the magazines when I go in. I was trying to kill some time before my next shoot, so I went over to see if the latest issue of the Columbia County Magazine had come out. I photographed an event for them last month and I knew it would be running in the July issue. When I looked down and saw the new issue, I about let out a VERY loud scream!! Staring back at me was MY IMAGE on the cover!! WHOAH!! I had no idea that they would use one of my images for the cover. I still can't believe this....it's been one of my goals to shoot for a magazine and see my work in print. Wooo--hoooo!! Thank you, Lord! I'm just going to continue to dream big!

In Print!!

A few months ago I was able to do my first corporate shoot for Select Specialty Hospital. I was beyond excited! The shoot was for their 2009 calendar which displays some of their miracle patients from across the country. Augusta was chosen again this year to showcase a miracle story, and I was asked to photograph the patient. It's been one of my dreams to see some of my work in print. And although this is a small start, I hope it means more of this stuff in the future! wwoooo-hoooo!!!
