Man, the thanksgiving feasts were ON this year! Everything was so good! It was nice to take a break from work and just relax. We went to both sides of our families on thanksgiving day, then on saturday we had my dad's whole side of the family down in Baxley. I loved catching up with people I haven't seen a awhile. I hope everyone else had a great time. I really am so blessed to have who and what I have in my life. God is sooooo good! (can I get an amen?!?) I just can't believe it sometimes. To be born in America, in a family that loves me, and never have to worry about food or clothes....I have so many reasons to give back.
p.s. that corn bread was my favorite dish....it has real corn and cheese in it. oh, such greasy goodness. My confession is I think I had at least 5 pieces of it. Don't judge me! :)
So thankful!

Jenna & Jason (are in LOVE!)
Tuesday, November 25, 2008
It's been so great getting to know Jason and Jenna this past year. They are a newlywed, newly re-located to Augusta couple who dove right into ministry at my church (very talented musicians!). They are a great couple who I want to know even more! When Jenna and I were brainstorming ideas for their shoot she mentioned the library because it was close to her work....and I was like, "yes, please!! thanks for your creativity!" So, last week we utilized Jenna's lunch break and had an awesome shoot at the library--and yes, we had permission to shoot! It was so much fun!! I love getting out of the box! I love being pushed creatively!
Jenna and Jason, I know you guys have family coming in this week so I hope this sneak peak is fun for you guys to look over!

Kurtz Family
Saturday, November 22, 2008
Man, we had such a great time this week....me and the Kurtz family! I LOVE shooting families! I just can't talk about it enough....I could just explode with excitement when I think about photographing families! And this one was no disappointment! Their 3 boys were hilarious! They had me laughing so much it was hard to steady my camera! I'm thrilled with how this session turned out and I'm considering using it for one of my new products! Thanks, guys!!
Everybody's gone surfin'.....
what life is like for the mother of 3 boys!

Shoot the Staff
Thursday, November 20, 2008
I was shakin' in my shoes for this one! Not because I was afraid of it but because I wanted to do the best job I could on these. You see, these people mean so much to me. I love them. They are in charge of running one of the best places in the world: My church! This place has changed my life and my ways of thinking. I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for this place. Because I know that the church body is not a building, I wanted these photos to be extra special. I want the world to know how incredible these people are and the rest of the body at my church.
I give you, the staff of New Hope Worship Center!
